Dr. Monika Gorzelak, Mycorrhizal EcologyDr. Gorzelak brings a lesson on all things mycorrhizas to Field School and is eager to share her knowledge on the symbiotic relationship these fungi share with your crop! Dr. Gorzelak is a soil microbial ecologist and Research Scientist at Lethbridge RDC. She completed her PhD at University of British Columbia where she studied the communication through mycorrhizal networks. She invites you to come discover the benefits they can bring your field and crops! |

Carlo Van Herk will present on the “FerCanStrip” study that explores the potential of strip tilled fertilizer in canola production. In the spirit of events, we held the 2025 Pesticide Applicator Workshop on March 21. More than 80 Pesticide Applicators learned about the latest updates in application technology, strategies, and policies from six speakers at the day-long virtual event.
