Provide unbiased, reliable, and cutting-edge research

We strive to connect our audience with timely research and provide opportunities for professional development. Each year, we host five major events to bring research across the province and Prairies front and center to our audience.

From multi-day conferences to summer field days, our goal is to showcase the variety of research that can help farmers, agronomists, and industry representatives. They are fantastic opportunities to grow your network, and as a bonus, all our events provide the opportunity to collect continuing education credits.

We change the way people farm by connecting research to the community

We connect the southern Alberta agriculture community to agronomic research and foster an engaging and educating environment. Our extensive network within the agricultural industry of southern Alberta brings growers together with leaders in industry and science.

Part of our mission includes bringing agriculture knowledge to the local urban audience who is interested in learning more but may not know where to start. We’re proud to be a participating member of Alberta Open Farm Days, which has seen nearly 350 attendees annually.

But our reach extends past our area! Since 2020, we have hosted a virtual conference that connects members of agriculture from around the globe with those here in southern Alberta.
