Lethbridge is on to us!

Alberta Wheat Commission shared goodies and information about wheat production in Alberta.

Almost 300 people came to learn from Farming Smarter Aug. 18 as we took part in Open Farm Days. The wagon rides filled up well in advance, about 25 organizations and industry people set up booths, volunteers joined us to barbecue and serve Molnar corn and burgers and Lethbridge Family Centre ran a craft tent.

Alexander Coles found out sheep like head scratches.

Big smiles were everywhere as people took in information, tried new things, got crafty and enjoyed the sights. We had drones flying, bugs battling, sausage sizzling, sheep bleating and so much more. Alberta Open Farm Days continues to grow in popularity both on-farm and among visitors.

Farming Smarter General Manager Ken Coles answered many questions from young and old Aug. 18.
