Southern Alberta 4-H Regional Council Farming Smarter Scholarship
Since 2014, Southern 4-H Regional Council puts money raised at the Farming Smarter Conference auctions toward 4-H scholarships.
To apply for this and other 4-H scholarships, past 4-H members can complete one online application form that allows them to be considered any scholarship. Deadline is May 5, 2017.
Available for: Any recognized post secondary institution including apprenticeship programs
Year of study: second year and beyond; if none then first year
Program of study: Program of choice
Value: $500.
Number available: Two
Criteria: Applicants with a minimum of three years in 4-H, with the majority of their membership and the final three years of activity occurring in the Southern 4-H Region are eligible for this scholarship.
Preference given to: 4-H involvement
Duration of scholarship: To be reviewed annually
Selection of scholarship: Southern 4-H Region Scholarship Committee
